I appeal to you please....
The problem..... Loading NetBSD 1.0
The Hardware.
A4000 (2mg Chip Ram)
-- Warp '040/40 full MMU/FPU (16mb on warp)
-- Video Taoster 4000 (ver 3.1, 3.5)
-- Caviar 2540 IDE drive (540m, boot drive)
-- Qauntum LPS105, and 270 SCSI on Warp
The Software:
WB3.1
Loadbsd
NetBSD 1.0 (generic)
Inst-10.fs
The symptoms-----
loadbsd -b netbsd gets me an unexpected trap (vector offset 0)
from 10074
right after the memory gets checked (real mem = 16777216 (2048
pages)
I have used MULTIPLE startups, no warprom, warprom, everything I
could think of, even WB3.0. I really would like to get a Unix
box up and running, soon.
IF YOU HAVE NETBSD running on a WARPED A4000...please let me know the
secret. Maybe I could look at a copy of your startups ???
