There's also another factor: few of us want to log a bug if we're not
sure it's a bug.  NetBSD can be difficult enough to configure properly
that one is never quite certain that odd behavior one encounters isn't
caused by a misconfiguration.

So, people are much more likely to post to the list, asking "does anybody
else see this?" first.
