When try to mount an amiga dos partionion using a 1.0A kernel using the

mount_ados /dev/sd1d /mnt/ados

I get the following error:

mount_ados: mount: read only file system

I've tried playing around with the flags but I don't seem to be getting
anywhere, can anyone help?
