I've exported NFS from NetBSD-Amiga a long time.  I haven't seen any
peculiar occurrences ever.  If I were you, I'd try to do a controlled
experiment where you do no other NFS traffic than a single client, and
run tcpdump on the nfs traffic.  Then come back with a script file as
well as the tcpdump log.  Maybe we can help you then.
