					  Well, at the point someone has
					  pressed C-A-A, there may not be
					  a lot of room for good/great
					  ideas.  All you can try to do
					  is try to reduce the amount of
					  damage that is done.  I suppose
					  one has to decide whether 'tis
					  nobler to reboot without a
					  sync, or to suffer the slings
					  and arrows of a possible reset
					  during a sync.
