It's not looking hopeful.  With the warp engine installed, the system
runs quickly, but crashes constantly.  I mean *constantly* - ls / dumps
core about 2 times out of three.  So far as I can tell, either there's
a jumper setting I should have been told about, or the warp engine is
fundementally broken.  I may bother to try an exchange for a different
warp engine, in case the one I got was defective, but I suspect it's
a general design flaw.
