Had the same problem, until I fixed my (old) ld.so.. (it's the longjmp()
thing again..). If you're running a recent system, you shouldn't have
the problem. Just for the record, 5.0 works fine on pre 1.0 as well 
(you wouldn't have expected that, would you?:-))
