The "screen" in the contrib dir of uni-regensburg is flawed.
If the term type is vt220 it has the problem I mentioned on
this list earlier...  reverse characters arent handled properly.
If the term is set to vt100 then the scroll up function works
incorrectly.  To test this go into vi and hit "o" at some
point in the file..  your cursor will be positioned on the
wrong line after the operation.  I'm not sure why it is
flawed but I rebuilt screen from gnu sources and it works fine
for me now (with TERM=vt100).
