There seems to be a problem with the Mosaic 2.4 executable available at
ftp.uni-regensburg.de; it consistently dumps core (with a lovely little
message about having discovered a bug) when trying to access an ftp URL.
The 2.1 (I think it was 2.1, anyway) version previously available does not
suffer from the problem.  

There are no debugging symbols in the executable, so I'm unable to provide
any more info at this point.

Any ideas?
