I found it to be very unstable also, when using 1152x900.
With 1024x768 I have no problems. 1152x900 was "tuned" (100MHz)
so I thought, that might be the reason, but thats probably not
it.

BTW, the Xdefaults file coming with the server is supposed to be
800x600 - it is not. Its 1024x768. This might not be nice for
some monitors...
