I can confirm that it has never been stable for me since the updated driver
showed.  With -current as of October 19th, I consistently get TIMEO @1073
errors.  It was 9 hundred and something earlier.  Luckily, I use a
Warp Engine for most of my disks.  This is on a 3000 with a
vanilla -08 chip.
