These sets should work fine.

About your first errors:

	Symbol XAAPatternROP from module
	/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/sis_drv.o is unresolved !

This function is defined in "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libxaa.a" which
should be available on your system. Could please send the output
of "nm /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libxaa.a |grep XAAPatternROP" to the list?

So it shouldn't be a problem with the amount of available shared memory.
But the call to shmget() returned ENOMEM nevertheless. How much physical
memory does your system have? Could it have been short on memory when
this happened?
