Yes, sure.  I guess that Samba team kept it some backward
compatibitily.  But even before 2.2.x release, WINS data shouldn't be
removed across reboot.

I'll commit from now.  I've get some changes about making "piddir"
from FreeBSD and I would send "piddir" patch to Samba team.
