I haven't really got anything to test it against.  The NetBSD machine is
a 40MHz R3000 with 10 2GB disks across two controllers ccd'd together
(and a boot disk).  The Ultrix box is a 60MHz R4400, with 16 2GB disks
across 4 controllers with separate filesystems on each disk (Ultrix
doesn't handle local filesystems greater than 2GB).  That'd be worse
than comparing apples with kumquats...
