Yes, but the userland tools need more work. I have fixed tar, cpio and
dump/restore still need to be reworked. (for the latter two, it's probably
only restore that needs work, cpio will be non-trivial...).

Thanks for looking at the core so far, I hope tom find some time somewhen
to actually finish this.
