Personally, I'd recommend -current.  That would mean, installing the 
snapshot, and then rebuilding/re-installing the world.  Well worth the 
trouble :-)

Yes, I know.  I tar'd up a fresh X11R6 build I did on my SS1 yesterday.  
It's currently sitting in my home directory, and I'll see about getting 
it on the ftp server today.
