	I am still a little unlcear, however. Do you mean that I can
	plug some non-dec kind of mouse into the port that the dec mouse
	normally uses? Such that it will pass the self-test of the
	monitor upon power-on? Are you saying perhaps that the mouse
	port is really for example, an rs232c port?
