Re: Soundbox compatible board



Very interesting.

At first glance, I thought this was built around an original NeXT PCB, but then I looked more closely and realized that it's just the black solder mask that makes it look like NeXT Computer era manufacturing.

This product looks like it would fit inside an original Soundbox enclosure. I guess that begs the question, "How do we manufacture new Soundbox-style enclosures?" (assuming that there are not many originals left.)

If you use one of these, please let us know how it works out.

p.s. One of my favorite activities is creating new PCB designs that fit into old equipment, matching the placement of screw holes, mounts, and panel connectors.
