Mac Mini (intel) support?

Question for the list: What port supports the "new" Mac Mini with Intel
processor?

I have poked around to find a FAQ or some explicit mention of the
Intel Mini, but can't find any.  I presume it's not MacPPC.  It looks like
i386 would work, but amd64 is closer to the actual CPU used
in the mini (an x86_64 processor).

Does anyone have experience with this?
