Hi,

When I boot into NetBSD 1.5.2 I am see the following prompts...

boot device (unknown): <- does not allow my to change
root device: <- I type wd0a <return>
dump device (default wd0b): <- I type <return>
file system (default generic): <- I type <return>

My questions are...

Q1. Why is the boot device unknown?
Q2. What is the boot device? A HD or program?
Q3. Is the dump device the swap partition I set up on wd0b?
Q4. What are the file system choices?
Q5. Why do I have to answer these questions? Can I modify a kernal
file (?) to default these values?

Thanks.

S
