I'm working on Acard ATP8x0 pciide support.

AEC-6210 and AEC-6260 that have i386 BIOS are woking
fine on i386, but they have some problem on macppc.
Only UDMA drives work on macppc with them.

There was a report that the Sonnet card (which has
Openfirmware for macppc) also had problem.
It only works with MDMA mode (not UDMA).

Maybe some more initialization (which may be done by
the i386 BIOS) are needed, but there is no documentation
for the chips. sigh.
