It happens to coincide. The DEC monitors are sync-on-green which the Nubus
Macs do well. The VRT19 is an OEMed Sony GDM-1961 which is a dual-sync
monitor that can be fine-tuned from almost anything between 1024x768@85 Hz
to 1280x1024@66 Hz. You can even drill two more holes in the back panel,
remove two wires and add two more sockets for H-/V-sync. Unfortunately, my
sparcstations do not like it and so have to run headless.
