I post this mainly for the archive.
Here are the results of my testing with pptp (and pppoe) (which is used by
french dsl provider)

MacIIci   : 12 KBytes/s
Quadra650 : 37 KBytes/s


Given these results, I guess no mac68k system can achieve the 512 Kbs
throuput I pay for :(

Anyone no who I should lobby to make a more efficient implementation of
pppoe happen faster (I have no hope for pptp) ?
