Yes I have tried this.  The error message is something like this:

Booting...File "netbsd" not found
Could not open kernel "(6,?)netbsd"

Sorry, back up a step - how do you install the X set?  (I thought I had)

Is there a way to tell if it installed?  If not how do I install it?
