I haven't figured out why yet, but I can verify that X hasn't worked on my
Mac IIci's external video for a couple of months now. Last time I tried
(several weeks ago), it still worked using internal video.

NB that at the same time frame, autoconfig started reporting that "ite0
not configured" messages. This appeared to be related to the fact that
the frame buffer offset seemed to be being accounted for twice in the
various related global variables. I made a quick patch to take care of
this problem, but it did _not_ fix the X problem.

I'm currently up to my elbows working on integrating the MacOS ROM-based
slot manager in order to get my off-the-wall video card working in color;
maybe by running Taras Ivanenko's extended grf code will take care of the
X problem... (One can hope, can't one?)
