That is the one I'm using, and having problems with.

It could be a lot of things. But given that I've got a PCI sound
card in the box that works fine:

    sb1 at isapnp0 port 0x220/16,0x330/2,0x388/4 irq 9 drq 1,5
    sb1: Creative ViBRA16C PnP Audio: dsp v4.13

I'd doubt it's due to some non-motherboard component in the box.

I'm willing to help debug these problems later this week when I
get a little time.
