Logically, ISA devices _can_ take *-style wildcards (i.e. be "cloning"
devices).

For many ISA devices, this makes a lot of sense.

Non-i386 ports which use isa but which still use the medium-old
("broken") indirect config mechanism (i.e. not the one in 4.4BSD-Lite,
and not the current one which is pretty much the same as 4.4BSD-Lite
8-) can use *'d devices on ISA, but won't actually get cloning
behaviour (the device will be probed just once).

Ports which use the current indirect config mechanism do actually
support cloning devices on ISA.
