Ok. I tried patching rabbit with all of the suggested fixes but then it failed with a different error with no obvious solution and I gave up.
FWIW that PR doesn't apply against a 3.12.1 extracted work area.This stuff can be quite sensitive to changes, we might want to have a small bulk-erlang package that people can use to test for breakages prior to upgrading components.
