no loopback interface on custom kernel config.

Hi,
I recently updated source tree to netbsd-4-0 branch and after
recompiling my custom kernel I have only rtk0 interface under ifconfig
-a while i should have also lo0 and pppoe0. When trying to create I
get:

#ifconfig lo0 create
ifconfig: SIOCIFCREATE: Invalid argument

I cant remember if i did any changes to my kernel config so im asking
here, did my config lacks something?

Also without lo0 kernel panic's when using ping utility.

TIA. Dominik.
