 I forgot to add the biggest problem with the patch ...
 
 	6.  It should reset itself whenever the network link changes
 	    (connecting to a new net) and should be interfacei
 	    specific (having had a reply saying no addresses from
 	    one interface when SLAAC is enabled there, doesn't
 	    mean a message should not be logged for a different
 	    interface where SLAAC is not available, but DHCPv6
 	    refuses to assign an address, nor when the connection
 	    moves to a different link for the same interface, again
 	    where conditons are different)
