Yes I know and reducing its size makes is a work around:
mount_mfs -s 2048000 /dev/ld0b /tmp

However in older releases (at least tested in 2.1, 3.0 and, 3.1) the=20
behavior seems to be a quiet mount of whatever max allocation of memory
is. =20
