True, but AFAIK i've issued a new PR for that thus making this old PR about 
CD-ROM and tlp0 a bit a surplus.

What i remember from a discussion back then the ochi might violate some 
busspace primitives like barriers and/or is not programmed to have it 
interrupts daisy chained. It normally gave lost interrupts with the ide 
interface.

I'll have a look if i can find that old PR but i would say this one is 
closed for me. Since its now in use as a `production' machine i'm a bit 
reluctant to change the hardware again to see what would happen...
