Well, good that this bug hits other code as well. I suspect the bug
in the kernel, as the older kernel (and all before) was fine in that
respect. As for re-compiling - i re-compiled my version of sendmail with
the actual -current tree - no avail. Something probably broke in the
kernel in an unexpected way (at least for the programs affected).
