if a machine normally does not run rpcbind, but wants to become an
NFS server momentarily, the following sequence of commands does not
work:
# /etc/rc.d/rpcbind forcestart
Starting rpcbind.
# /etc/rc.d/mountd forcestart
Starting mountd.
# /etc/rc.d/nfsd forcestart
/etc/rc.d/nfsd: WARNING: $rpcbind is not set; nfsd not started.
