The original ID tag was a group of fixed length fields at the end of
the MP3 file - that way if you had a player that didn't support it, the
tag was ignored. The fields were in most cases too small as well. Now
someone has come along and defined a new version of ID tags at the start
of the file and most of the player authors haven't caught up yet.
