Folks,

I've been planning on this for a while, but my hand was forced...  :)

Internal semantics were changed for a table-lookup routine whereby it 
now returns a NULL pointer if the desired entry is not found.  (It used 
to return a pointer to a dummy "unknown" table entry.)  This caused some 
problems with table lookups with initialized key values.  :)

I've fixed all the sensor code that I can find (except for the ibmhawk 
i2c sensor), but I may have missed some, and I may have fat-fingered 
some others.  Please let me know if you find any fall-out.

And please accept my apologies in advance for the surprise changes.
