A second note about the changes to special files etc..

For people compiling their own kernels and not using 
a line similar to "config netbsd swap on generic" i.e.
you request a specific partition to use.  You need to
grab the new fixed config.new also. (or fix its 
incorrect ouput in swapnetbsd.c in your compilation
driectory)
