That's true, but I don't have time to set up a new system (SUP).
Actually the difference between #744 kernel boot loader and the latest
kernel version should be quite small and isolated. I have taken the
actual booting mechanism (assembly code) and memory configuration code
from loadbsd.c. So it should be very easy to update the boot loader
for latest kernel.

Right now I have one very peculiar problem with this boot loader.
When I set the boot priority of netbsd root (boot) partition so high
that the boot code is actually loaded before amigados is ever run (and
workbench) the boot fails (fireworks). On the other hand, if I let the
system boot once to amigados and then reboot (going thru all the v36
boot menues (the kickstart 2.x / 1.3 menu and so on)) everything goes
well. I can even reboot from netbsd or give three-finger-salute :-/

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Due to this booting problem I won't release the current system (yet)
to anyone who has requested it. If someone really wants to debug the
symptoms I can give the sources and development environment.

Next few days I will be away (to Stockholm) and I'll be back
answering any questions on Monday. So, until then..
