(WW) VGA arbiter: cannot open kernel arbiter, no multi-card
support
I'm wondering whether this lack of VGA arbiter support could
explain VT-switch problems with my drm/gem OpenBSD port. Has the
VGA arbiter any effect on mono-card systems?
IIRC that's about accessing the legacy VGA registers on different
cards, which you only need if you want to run VGA text mode on
additional heads or if you have oldish hardware that can't switch
modes without accessing those registers. Multi-card support on macppc
and sparc(64), which never use text mode, works just fine.
