dri and XML

With source of Dec 12 17:30 GMT, I find that all the modules in
/usr/X11R7/lib/modules/dri have undefined XML symbols, e.g., 

% nm -g i810_dri.so.0

Why are they needed, and how are they meant to be resolved?
