dmxproto.h is from X.org. As far as I know, it is not in XFree86.

I understand that there is XFree86 and X.org source both in xsrc now. But 
I haven't looked at it myself. (I use X.org from pkgsrc or modular X.org 
from pkgsrc-wip.)
