That's the source of my confusion.  build.sh -x does not provide an 
XFree86 server binary on Alpha, only XdecNetBSD and XalphaNetBSD.  
'make World && make install' builds and installs all three servers:  
XFree86, XdecNetBSD and XalphaNetBSD.
