FWIW:

The new orange and almost-block colors make me think of the typical
colors we use in the U.S. for Halloween.  Generally I agree with
Perry that the whole is a bit dark.

Maybe if the orange of the flag and the word "Net" (and the other
orange bits) were changed to a crimson, that would help?

Also, as a rule, I find white text on dark backgrounds to be hard on
the eyes.
