Hi,
Every time I run "startx", I get the following error:
xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "hostname:0" in "remove" command
In console, before running X, when I type "xauth list", I get nothing.
However, running X, I get the following message:
$ xauth list
gandalf/unix:0 MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 c61e9cfb383cd82c80245d3e8374b198
$
I saw in man pages that xauth is a utility to control permissions. I do care
this message because I'm thinking this is slowing the speed of X
initialization.
Is it something wrong?
