Than you should start contribution to the BSD DRI project (see
http://people.freebsd.org/~anholt/dri/news.html). I'm sorry but discussing
it there won't help you much.

And for the unresolve symbol parts: it doesn't happen on my system also it
uses the same driver as your. So it seems it is hardware related and you
are again in charge for tracking the problem down and contributing a fix.

agp(4) without DRI doesn't help mplayer unless you need to it get the
X11 server to work with an onboard graphic chipset like the i845GE.
