The best way is to use the "xservers" packages as suggested by Frederick.
If you want to downgrade to 3.3.6 completely you'll have to build from
NetBSD X11 sources like this:

cd xsrc
env USE_XF86_4=no make build

This downgrade will hoever be difficult. You'll have to remove "/usr/X11R6"
completely before trying it because otherwise applications will still use
the newer XFree86 4.2.x shared libraries.
