	Hello,

the reason for the random X11 server crashes under NetBSD-i386 after the
update to XFree86 4.2.0 has probably been found:

Stephen Ma discovered an old bug in NetBSD's FPU enabled math library
which caused problem when cerntain floating point operationgs got
interrupted by a signal. Frank van der Linde has committed Stephen's fix
to NetBSD-current today.

To fix the problem on your system either rebuild from the lastest sources
or if this isn't possible (e.g. under NetBSD 1.5.x) install a math library
without FPU support.

	Kind regards
