I've heard several reports that XFree86-4.2.0 breaks several existing
binaries (in Japanese environment, FWIW). i.e. When XFree86-4.2.0 was
installed, some programs stopped working. And recompiling every
binaries fixed the problem. (I haven't installed XFree86-4.2.0 yet)

This sounds like that XFree86-4.2.0 breaks some ABI.
Is there anyone who had same experience?
And does anyone know what ABI is broken, and how to fix the
ABI breakage?
