Yes, they do have spaces. I didn't do this. I grabbed the xsrc via cvs
this morning.

I looked closer:

 making Makefiles in lib...
         mv -f Makefile Makefile.bak
 In file included from ../config/cf/Imake.tmpl:1724,
                  from Imakefile.c:12:
 Imakefile:108: syntax error
 .././config/imake/imake: Exit code 1.
   Stop.
 *** Error code 1

 Stop.
 "Makefile", line 14: Need an operator
... and many more ...

Imakefile has:

 #else /* OS2Architecture */
 VerifyOS::
         @echo :
         @echo Building on OSName.
         @echo :

 includes::

The second "@echo :" is line 108. Notice it says "OS2Architecture".

Should I be using gmake? If so, do I need to set this somewhere?
