Hi,

	XFree86-4.0.x (XF4) supports TrueType fonts in libXft using
FreeType2, which is bundled with the XF4 sources in
xfree/xc/extras/freetype2.  It would be good if our default X installation
had support for TrueType fonts, so I think we should build and distribute
libfreetype.so in /usr/X11R6/lib, much as libGL.so and libXpm.so are
currently built and distributed in /usr/X11R6/lib.
